Fire Hydrant

Ethan is inexplicably afraid of the Fire Hydrant attached to my mum's block and the other blocks in the estate. It's really dusty so I didn't want to touch it with my hands, so I touched it with my shoe to show Ethan that's it's really okay. After many times, it was clear that Ethan was still afraid but very thrilled to see the Fire Hydrant get stepped on, even by himself (helped by us of course). Then Emmanuel went one further and started to kick the Fire Hydrant. That totally captivated Ethan who now wants to go down everyday and see his parents kick the Fire Hydrant to "death". Yesterday Ethan made a kicking motion near the Fire hydrant by himself and by this morning, knows how to do a pseudo front kick. Emmanuel is obviously very proud and is trying to teach little Ethan the nuances of the side kick, the front kick, the turning kick and the roundhouse. Am just hoping that we don't end up having a son who'll be injuring others he doesn't like.
